This recipe is cooked in a buttery garlic-lemon sauce and finished in the oven for that perfect caramelized crust.
Ingredients:
• 2-salmon fillets
• Garlic butter
• lemon slices
Seasonings Used:
• Kinder’s Lemon Butter Garlic Seasoning
• Sazón Goya (Coriander & Annatto)
• Garlic & Onion powder,
• Italian seasoning
• Thyme leaves Slap yo mama
For the Honey Lemon Sauce:
• 2 tablespoons honey
• 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
• 1 teaspoon garlic (minced or finely grated)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Salmon:
• Rinse the salmon fillets and pat them dry with a paper towel.
• Generously season both sides of the salmon with Kinder’s Lemon Butter Garlic Seasoning, Sazón Goya, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and thyme leaves.
2. Pan-Fry for a Golden Crust:
• Heat a large oven-safe frying pan over medium heat. Add 1-2 tablespoons of garlic butter.
• Once the butter melts and starts to sizzle, place the seasoned salmon fillets skin-side down in the pan.
• Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown but not fully cooked through.
3. Add Lemon Slices:
• Place 2 lemon slices on top of each salmon fillet for an extra burst of citrus flavor.
4. Make the Honey Lemon Sauce:
• In a small bowl, mix honey, fresh lemon juice, and minced garlic until combined. Drizzle the sauce over the salmon in the pan.
5. Finish in the Oven:
• Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
• Transfer the pan with the salmon to the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes until the salmon is tender and flaky.
6. Optional Garnish and Serve:
• Spoon the extra sauce from the pan over the salmon before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley or a sprinkle of thyme if desired.
